short barrel

Postby Goosebuster13 » Sat Jan 18, 2014 9:54 am

whats everyones opinion on the rnt short barrel? enough volume to bring ducks from a ways away? significantly louder than an echo timber dbl reed? good call for public areas/running traffic? a friend suggested to me to look into a short barrel after i was just about set on an mvp. he thinks a short barrel would provide me with enough volume. again, i hunt mainly fields dry and flooded, public marshes and rivers. generally a lot of other callers around.

thanks

Daisy Cutter would have the volume and duck you are looking for

Another vote for the MVP

I'm not saying that it shouldn't be done, I'm just saying it is ill advised...
