New duck calls

Postby A5 hunter » Tue Jan 21, 2014 5:07 pm

I have been hunting ducks for 40 years, calling ducks for 35. I would rate myself as a fair caller. My kids are out of school and I am going to try some of the more expensive calls. I just received a lares hybrid. To early to tell if it's for me. I am intent on becoming a better caller. I do not live where I can try a bunch of different calls at a store. So I am looking for suggestions of what has been successful for y'all. I understand that being where the ducks want to be can make all the difference. I also know that an exceptional caller can make the difference as well. I was raised by one, I'm just not as good as he was. Yet. And yes I've been trying a long time. Thanks for any help.

I've tried several company's and feel like lares was the best call for me. I think you will be happy with the hybrid. Just my opinion as I know every one is different and call different. Best of luck

Order one from RM and he'll give you more information and tips to becoming a better caller than you'll care to know.

Thanks for the input. I am getting better with the lares everyday. I have read many good things about RM calls as well I think I will be calling them soon. There are a couple or four more I would like to have. I will probably try them all before its over.

RM and lares for me. Ronald at RM is one hell of a guy. I gotta get me another gold digger since they have changed again.

I'll add another plug for RM Calls, adding a Gold Digger by next fall to my lanyard. Also am a fan of Zink.
