Anyone try it. Academy has all of its stuff on clearance and I'm wondering what it may sound like?

I have used just about all of their calls other than the Supernatural and newer ones, and liked them. They aren't top shelf calls but they ran good in my experience.

That's how I got a 13" pecker.

I have one new in the package. I have blown it once or twice. It is actually a well made, good sounding little call. It can pretty loud but looses a little on the bottom end. I am selling the one I have just because I am not s double reed guy. If I was though, I'd probably keep it or give it away to someone.

I do like doubles so I got it. Sounds good. Not a loud call, but makes a good sound. You can get really quiet on it and still sound good. Paid $8, so I think I got it for a steal.
