Thanks! Sounds as good as it it looks!

Quilted Ash Crotch Wood. Stabilized and dyed green. New tone board GD.

I love that call...

I was feeling left out. It's no fancy wood, but it's going to kill ducks and look good doing it!

Thinking about buying an older Rm with the old toneboard. Is the new tone board better than the old?

Many guys like the new tone board more than the old one. Stump worked on it enough to change his lineup, so I'm sure he's happy with it.

I like both. It should be noted that Stump worked to get the old tone board to where he wanted it as well.

Nothing wrong with either one. Enjoy whatever you get!

He doesn't make any calls with the older toneboard now that he has this new toneboard...and that is straight from the man's mouth. FWIW, I personally like the older toneboard

It's good stuff bro

Seriously though, I just prefer the older toneboard. Don't get me wrong, the new toneboard sounds good but I just like the older one better

I have 4 different TBs of Gold Diggers. The first was God awful thin with no duck, but this was at the very beginning of Stump call making. The second was ok. The third(last before the newest) was better, decent rattle, good range of tones, but couldn't really be leaned on real hard. The newest one is by far the best, a ton of rattle, but can be cleaned up, a ton of range, can lean on it hard, great tone and tracks real well

Everyone has their own opinions and likes/dislikes. My new toneboard GD can't be leaned on like some of the older toneboards (for me, you may be able to). I can think of several older toneboard GDs right now and tell you that I could lean on them and push them as much as I wanted to/had the air to. Am I saying I can run a call and it is all the call's fault? Not for a second. I still have A LOT to learn on a duck call. Honestly, everyone does. However, I just really like the way I could lean on the older ones. Everybody blows a call differently though

Stump makes some of favorite calls but he also makes the best pictures of those calls.

No, no, no! Those are all horrible calls... won't kill ducks. I will do you guys a favor and take them off your hands ('cause that's the kinda' guy I am...) and send you a brand new, in package DR-85 in replacement, which we all know will kill ducks...

No extra cost...

Shoot, I'm feeling charitable today... I will even pay for shipping... :hammer:
