Wanting to get one and can't decide between wood and acrylic. Just wanted to hear from people who have them what they think.

I've not ran one of the newer style Troublmakers,but have a handful of the old style version.
Great calls,dont take a lot of air to run and sound amazing,not a screamer of a call,but they produce very realistic sounds for a double reed.

The Troublemaker sounds good in both.I've got a wood (Cocobola) one that sounds very much the same as the acrylic versions I have do.
Wood or acrylic,either way is pretty much a personal choice.
I prefer the sound of wood calls over acrylic for the spots I hunt.
