Single shot H&R shotgun repair

Postby jbass » Fri Apr 20, 2012 12:15 pm

I have inherited a single shot H&R shotgun and the forend is detached. It looks like a snap on but I can't find a model # on the gun, so how do I know what part I need. It was my grandfathers and he died in 1950 so I am not sure how old this gun is.

Contact Marlin/H&R via the Marlin web site. They sould be able to help you identify it and Gun parts Corp has lots of parts available for the H&R / NEF single shots you can find them at will take you to the H&R section they have nice break downs on the site you can look at and possibly find the one oyu need

I used to have an H&R 12 gauge. One day I shot a pheasant and the stock broke in two pieces. That sucker hurt like **** to shoot and I was really glad to move on to a better gun that shoots 3 shells.
