How to: Mossberg 500 Trigger Job (video)

Postby Kaianuanu » Mon Jul 16, 2012 9:37 am

Hi guys, im new to the forum and duck hunting (have other hunting experience though), and, i got a Mossberg 500 waterfowl in mossy oak duck blind a month or two ago and found the trigger pull to be pretty crappy with the long heavy takeup and creep so while trying to fix the problem i figured out a couple things about the gun that helped me make a great shotgun trigger really easily. It has zero takeup and a small bit of creep, really feels like a factory rifle trigger. Anyway, i put the findings into a video and here it is.

Sorry i know, its hard trying to film and work on the thing with one hand, since i used an iphone, I may re shoot the video with an actual camera and i'll try mount it somewhere stable, but not sure when i'll get around to it.

I agree.
Oh, and next time try to resist saying the same thing over and over; say it clearly once, then move on to the next step. Our time is valuable, and few will watch 10 minutes of vid to get 2 minutes worth of info. just a suggestion.....

He's trying to post helpful information by posting a free video. It's not like he's trying to sell the video or anything. Don't be so critical.
