870 express mag problem

Postby mrduks2 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 9:12 am

while dove hunting the other day,i shot once and on the 2nd shot, the forearm would not stay latch or would not stay foreward.it slides back and forth freely.ive taken it apart number of times, not finding anything bent or missing.i did notice that when i replaced the barrel and tightened the magazine cap, this would happen.but if i backed the cap off just a hair, the forearm would latch in the forward position.any ideals, thanks.
