On my 10 I have to push the button to put a shell in every time in the mag, is this common?

After I shoot, I may or not have a shell in chamber that part doesn't matter but when u try to load the mag u have to push the release button to get the carrier to move up so you can put a shell in the mag each time, doesn't seem right been like that since I bought it

That is the normal operation. I do not really care for that or the fact that the safety is in the wrong location so I use my SP10 more than the Gold. If you look at the "loading procedure" in your manual it tells you to push the carrier release then push the shell lifter up to the loading position to load the magazine.

10 4 it seams kinda odd, when your used to a regular style just load and go, so much for fast reloads Thanks
