I read on Beretta's web site that you can adjust LOP on this gun. Does anyone know what is the shortest LOP you can adjust this to? Also I only seen these with a 28" barrel do you know if you can get them in a 26" Thanks Max

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYYK0lYiJTI walks you thru the A400 but you can get the general Idea. On the Beretta site I never have found any good accurate info about the LOP, I have not even seen the LOP specs in the Manual. If I remember right these go down to 13" and up to 14-3/4 depending on the spacers that came with it.

Even if you look at their parts (on the site) you can buy the LOP spacers separately but it does not say what size they are.

As for Barrels I can not find any for the A300 that are 26" in complete guns or just the extra Barrel.

Your gun should've came with the longer spacer installed on the gun, with a set of shorter screws and an additional shorter spacer.

On the owners manual - I see that the shims can be adjusted for cast on (leftys) and the safety reversed but says must be done by gunsmith or it voids the warranty - seems weird to me - is it that complicated?

Mine came with a 1" spacer installed, and another 1/4" spacer (I think it was 1/4", don't have it on the gun) as well as the shims for POI. Barrel only comes in 28" per Beretta.

As noted by waldo9190 the gun comes with a 1" spacer installed, and a 1/2" spacer is also provided. By removing the 1" spacer you can reduce the LOP by 1" maximum. Use the 1/2" spacer to add or reduce LOP by 1/2" as desired.

If that's not enough, the stock uses the standard Beretta butt pad dimensions, so you could buy a thinner butt pad, but that's about it.

No 26" barrel. The A300 is Beretta's no-frills model, but its a real good one.

When I purchased my A300 there was a 26" Realtree Max 4 available. I know because I handled it, so they do exist. This was at a gun shop in NJ.
