Help-Beretta 1201F firing pin removal?

Postby goosehappy » Sat Feb 15, 2014 10:29 am

Recently I had misfires in sub-freezing conditions, and guessed there's too much oil around the firing pin. I've never taken the pin out in the 20+ years I've owned the gun. But I can't seem to get the retaining pin out of the bolt assembly. This bolt is almost identical to the Benelli, but doesn't have the o-ring pin...Should I try to hammer it out? Also, just wondering where I might find another one of these guns for a backup?
