wanna make your matte wood stock shine?

Postby youngoilguy » Tue Apr 01, 2014 6:58 am

I read on Shotgunworld that some guys were using Meguiar's scratch x wax on their stocks. I was kinda skeptical, but I thought I'd give it a try on a Henry Golden Boy that I just bought. The Henry has such a nice shiny polished brass receiver, but the stock did not even reflect a little light. It is a nice stock, but it was so matte and lacked any luster. I used the Scratch X and MAN DOES IT SHINE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!

take a look, see for yourself-

I'm shocked at the difference it made.

it looks very nice, also looks like you got some pretty decent wood on the gun, Ive been looking at them but all Im finding are straight grain guns, which I don't want
If you're there for the limit, you're there for the wrong reason
