I bought a new Browning 10 Gold a little over a month ago. I called browning about shimming it since they do not make shims for it. The tech support informed me they do not make shims for it, but I could make my own out of zip ties, milk jug, etc. Has anyone done this to cast the stock? I am off enough to definitely throw my shot off. Im worried about doing it and screwing up the butt spring. Any help would be appreciated. Have had no luck finding after market shims either.
Would your Gold 10 happen to be shooting high and left? My lite Gold 10 is shooting high and left. I am interested in shimming the stock as well. There is formula of how much you move your stock affects point of impact.
Basically Churchill's rule is that a shift of 1/16″ in the stock will shift point of impact 1″ at 16 yards.
