SBE Limbsaver installation????

Postby ChrisR » Fri Sep 12, 2008 2:21 pm

Just got my 10401 Limbsaver. It came with some plastic piece as well. My guess is that it is for the SBE II's that have comfort tec pads. Figured I'd check first though. Mine is an original SBE. So I'm assuming pull the old pad and just replace it with the Limbsaver using the original screws. Can anyone confirm what the plastic piece is for?

I think it is different pad for the SBE I. I would double check it!

You are correct, Throw the plastic piece away, you do not need it. I have put these on al 3 of my SBE's and they work great. Especially on my slug gun.

I'm thinking of putting a limbsaver on my SBEII, the #10401 is the model to fit the SBEII? Sorry, got a little confused on which pad fit which gun..... I went to a local gun dealer and he didn't have a clue...

If Limbsaver didn't make a pad for the SBE II, I probaby wouldn't have bought the gun. Not only do I like the recoil reduction, but I like the way the gun fits with it on. Just a tad bit shorter than the standard Comfortech pad.
