Rem 1100 no more jamming

Postby REM1100 » Mon Nov 03, 2008 3:54 pm

I have cleaned out this gun manny times. But as I had bought the gun second I neglected the action spring when I changed out the stock it was rusty and lost some of it's tension when it got cold.
Anyways got my action spring and barrel seal total cost just under $20..did the work myself and the gun is really slick now with most loads...tellt-ale sign was when it failed to eject dryoks and rem mags heavy loads at 1450 ft/sec

I am still a Remington fan because most of my rems were fixable fast and cheap after normal prolonged wear and tear like 10-40 years of use
