browning bps

after i fire the first shot it locks up..anyone had this issue?

How do you open it, press the slide release?

AH ya but when you fire it it wont open/jack another shell

Take the trigger group out and inspect it closely. If it looks OK clean it thoroughly and see if that helps.

How do you get it to open after it jams? does it eventually open easily or do you have to force it open? have you tried different ammo, and what loads jam it? Magnum, Field, Target?

can help if I have more info

I've had a Bps for over 20 years and have used it a lot. The only time I had trouble is when some crap got in the trigger group and gummed things up.

Check the bolt retainer on the top of the bolt. For some reason it is not releasing when it should.
