Barrel change on a 25 yr old 870 Wingmaster?

Postby spankustang » Wed Dec 10, 2008 9:48 am

I am wanting to put a new barrel with interchangeable chokes on a 25 year old Wingmaster. Will the new Wingmaster barrel fit on the older 870's?
I don't want to buy different barrels for it!

Thanks

There are many versions of 870 barrels available. One of them will fit your gun. You must be precise in describing your model and in some cases date of manf. Go to www.cabelas.com for an idea of what is available. If in doubt talk with their tech dept. Have a complete description ready.

Check with Jack Ammon the barrel man. He sells barrels cheaper than anyone I know. I have bought a couple from him.

Went to a local (kinda close) gun shop and tried them out!!
It worked. Now I'm excited to use it!!
It will be nice not having to change the barrels anymore.

Good deal! I'm sure you will enjoy the flexibility. I know I do. Now you can participate in arguments (uh discussions) over different choke tubes.
