Wish more people took the time to understand how hard and often they are being financially raped.

My guess is if they did we'd see 80%+ incumbent congressmen and woman voted the hell out in the next election.

But that can wait because one of the Kardashians did nothing again.

The majority of people do not understand enough to be able to follow what is going on. And most of them don't care unless/until it directly affects them....by that time the frauds have long since come and gone only now the repercussions of it are happening.

I kind of agree...they don't understand for sure, but it affects them everyday as their buying power is destroyed with the value of the dollar, and everyday as the average hours worked declines.

Apathy and ignorance are a b*tch.

problem is that the real causes are never discussed or addressed out in the open.

And most of the b*tching is misplaced while the crooks go unpunished.

It is purposefully created so even if you try to understand, it is damned near impossible. You ever see a scam that is open and straightforward.

Social Security, pensions, ... Why the hell do people still trust other people with their money? I'm not worried, I just invested my life's savings in something I have no clue how it works that is controlled by people with a long history of incompetence and corruption. Why wouldn't that work out the best for me?

Self-reliance, independence, and freedom is totally antithetical to pensions.
A politician thinks of the next election; a statesman of the next generation. A politician looks for the success of his party; a statesman for that of the country. The statesman wished to steer, while the politician was satisfied to drift.
