America as a unified society is dead. The question is what will replace what we have now? A Communist government, a republic that has reset to what America was, or something else? It is just a matter of time until something else comes along. We are very late into the Empire timeline.

I just got around to watching that and it's a pretty solid video with regards to history. I do, however, question whether we will trend back towards gold/silver in the next ten years. I quite simply don't think the powers that be will allow it, and it is as likley or more likely that the dollar and other prevailing currencies with be replaced with a new or a number of new currencies distributed largely by the same people in control of the current money supply.

Looking back in relatively recent history, paticularly in the US and Europe, even as money has changed forms, it has remained in the control of a select few regardless of the article in which it was traded. And now the complexity of the financial networks will make it close to impossible for those outside of that circle to control the course of the future.

Unless all the ignorant masses storm the castles....but that begs the question of where are the castles and what do we storm???

beretta-the only thing that has forestalled the change to a new monetary system so far are the games and manipulation being done under the current regime. Rehypothecation anyone? Naked backed derivatives and synthetic derivatives anyone? These two tools allowed for them to push the envelope that much farther down the infinite credit expansion road-much farther than could be done in the past. Also, all currencies are debasing in the great keynesian experiment, which has never happened before on a global scale.

So are you suggesting that you don't think there's a way out that doesn't drive us pack to silver and gold, at least temporarily? just saw you're sitting at 45000 posts by the way, daaaammnn.

Didn't say that...but a lot of naked baked credit/currency will implode no matter what the next monetary arrangement is...it's inevitable. either that, or it will be priced into the next arrangement and restart the credit creation schemes....

So I get his idea, buy gold from him. Seems like a winner for him. Smaller winner for everyone else?

Why would he want others on board?

Selling or buying, monetary truth doesn't change.

When you can predict the future and know which side to be on you pick the one that makes money.
