In case you have not heard, the Nasdaq went dark for nearly 3 hours yesterday.....

This is why I only hop in and out of the market when the opportune moments arise. I rode the Obamanations market crash to a very tidy profit, then rolled those funds it into other investments with high returns. There is still plenty of money to be made if you know where to look.

You are still getting hosed whether you realize it or not because the best bid process is corrupted by the HFT's putting in thousands of bids for milliseconds that are never executed (Illegal BTW) to move the price in their favor. The real market is dead, so is regulatory oversight.
