I guess your point is that people feel the repubs and Tea Party are too "extreme", and that they need to move more toward the center. You mean like Obama?

Trashing the mainstream narrative that “coveted” independent voters, those not identifying with either current political party, are unconditionally in love with Barack Obama, and that he’s leading them to victories in 2014, a new AP poll today reveals a eye-opening number, but under-reported. Only 16% of independent voters approve of Obama’s job performance, and this number has tanked by more than half since January of this year:

A bad sign for Democrats is that Obama has bled support among independents – 60 percent disapprove of the way Obama is handling his job, while only 16 percent approve. As he began his second term in January, independents tilted positive, 48 percent approved and 39 percent disapproved.

Wait- independents, the "key" to any election are disgusted with a Democrat? To the tune of a 16% approval rating? Why haven't we heard about that? But hey, feel free to post all the CNN polls you want.

Maybe you should have posted this one, too, to show that people are disgusted with BOTH of them, although that doesn't really fit your narrative:

In U.S., Perceived Need for Third Party Reaches New High
Twenty-six percent believe Democratic and Republican parties do adequate job

PRINCETON, NJ -- Amid the government shutdown, 60% of Americans say the Democratic and Republicans parties do such a poor job of representing the American people that a third major party is needed. That is the highest Gallup has measured in the 10-year history of this question. A new low of 26% believe the two major parties adequately represent Americans.

16% approval rating, you say?

The anointed one? barrack hussein, peace be unto his name, has only a 16% approval rating amongst the non-believers?

Sounds more like the democrats pooped on the carpet, tried to blame the dog, but now are trying to blame it on the GOP for farting since the dog was out in the kennel at the time. And now after 7 years even the democraps voter base is starting to get tired of the smell.
