Went to our IT department and had them figure it out for me. I love messing with those guys. I always make sure to make a comment about how their shop looks like the engine room on "star track". Using the word "track" instead of "trek" is like nails on a chalkboard to them. :lol3:

Picking on IT guys while fun can at times be like trying to explain quantum physics to the video dummy.

First time I did it I picked up one of their diagnostic meters and said "Mr. Solo, set tazers to stun.". I had a hard time keeping a straight face. :lol3:

Well, that explains it I guess. Of course Reagan was Governor at one point, and we all know it's a long climb from the Flintstones to the Jetsons! :lol3: Putting it in terms the OP can relate to, of course!

You guys proved my long-held theory. It's pretty much impossible to even bring up a Republican unless someone is discussing who screwed up and made things the way they are.

Yes, but when Reagan was governor and you were not a one party state, you were not such laughing stock for the rest of the country. OK, OK, you did elect the Governator :lol3: :lol3: :lol3:

Odd for the 7th to 9th (depending on source) largest economy in the world to be a laughing stock to all the rubes it supports. Reminds me of a monumentally naive teen.

We also have the 5th highest unemployment rate......but as the video clearly shows, some of our more "enlightened" citizens are just to dumb to hold a job. :lol3:

Who built it up and who is tearing it down?

If it is so great, why are so many successful people leaving and so many 3rd world illegals moving in?

As much as California has to offer, there is almost no way I would move there.

They're all going to Chicago.

It's huge in agriculture and service. Jobs that do not pay enough to attract those that earn wages high enough to support themselves well here. Plus, you might take a look at a map. See the line between CA and Mexico? That is what we call a border. In other words, we are very close to where some "3rd world illegals" are from. Texas and AZ has them too, but what self-respecting Mexican wants to live in Texas or AZ? :lol3:

So you are saying that Californians in general want the border enforced effectively, but wouldn't that kill all those greedy California businessmen that are unwilling to pay a living wage to Americans so they disregard the law and engaged in organized criminal activity? It is exactly this type of schizophrenia that makes California a laughing stock.

BTW, Arizona has a little different view of the foreign nationals entering and living illegally within their borders than California

This is an interesting site.

http://www.census.gov/hhes/migration/data/acs/state-to-state.html
A lot more people moving from California to Texas and Arizona than the other way around?

Overall, an estimated 567,000 left California for other states and 494,000 moved into it from other states in just 2012.

Illinois lost about the same amount of people as California despite being much smaller

More people moved from Illinois to California. We are definitely worse, but we are flyover country so nobody cares.

Central to Socal suck double dog behind with the exception of San Diego. NoCal is both beautiful and enjoyable as a whole. Anyone who thinks Cali is a good example of what the US should strive for is in need of some help. Rampant Crime, Drug Central, a broke government, ridiculous levels of poverty, and declining as we speak.

Yeah, but that's because almost no Californias live there. It is a pretty empty place.
