About That Heartbleed Bug......

Postby nitram » Sun Apr 13, 2014 9:20 am

The Department of Homeland Security has warned the public to change passwords in the wake of news of the so-called “Heartbleed” bug, saying that people are vulnerable to hackers. In other news, the National Security Agency knew about the Heartbleed bug for at least two years, while they used it for hacking. Once the news broke regarding the bug and patches were forthcoming, however, the NSA knew the gig was up and they might as well have DHS issue its “oh by the way” warning. Unfortunately, in the intervening two years, the agency whose mission is ostensibly to keep the American people safe left everyone wide open to hacking by those even more malicious than Big Government.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or f-ing beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.- Al Swearengen

Not sure there is anything more malicious than big government.

That would be debatable, only because defining "Big Government" would and is hard to agreeably define.

And much of the waterborne disease in the last century is the result of failure of big government.
A politician thinks of the next election; a statesman of the next generation. A politician looks for the success of his party; a statesman for that of the country. The statesman wished to steer, while the politician was satisfied to drift.
