Who would have thought that Clay Aiken would have his opponent offed.

I guess that pleasant voice, gentle demeanor and spiked hair hides a ruthless beast.

Fudge Packers aren't really that popular in most parts of NC.

Why do I have to have a point Jim? The link plus my statement should have explained everything. Now I'm no fan of Aiken and his sexual preference has nothing to do with it, but he is a liberal and I don't support liberals politically. I posted the link for 2 reasons, it was ironic and Aiken is somewhat famous.......so, maybe I had 2 points after all.

I assumed the point was the guy has no experience running anything, but found some fame singing on a TV show, thus is highly qualified as a democrat.

Most people really couldn't care less about the sexual preference stuff, as long as it is not shoved in people's faces.

Gotcha, RC. I wasn't being a smartass, though it sounds like it. I was just curious. I don't understand these "celebrities" and their political ambitions myself. I don't care if they spout off opinions, everyone has that right and the spotlight on them makes it "newsworthy" somehow. I agree, though, that 15 minutes of fame doesn't qualify one for any political position.

That's what I was curious about, WFM. Whether it was a total lack of experience or his sexual orientation that made his campaign distasteful. Or both!

Both qualify a sufficient reasons for an individual to now want to vote for him. If you are morally opposed to the lifestyle he chose and lives then it is more than acceptable to not want him to be representing your families interests. Everyone needs to quit being afraid to say it like it is and stand up to the gay mafia.
