Jimmy Obama's Foreign Policy

Postby nitram » Wed May 21, 2014 6:14 pm

Former Democrat Sen. Jim Webb of Virginia had some harsh words for what passes as Barack Obama’s foreign policy. Webb likened the current malaise to Jimmy Carter’s tenure, saying, “Remember when Jimmy Carter was president, and people were saying that the job had become too complex, that maybe you needed three people to be president? And Ronald Reagan came in – I say this as a Democrat – Ronald Reagan came in and he was a leader. And he knew whatever people might have thought of him issue by issue, he got good people around him. He gave very clear signals about where he wanted the country to go and things got back on track.” Today, we once again have a president overwhelmed by the job. As Webb added, we’re “bouncing from issue to issue without a clear articulation of what the national security interest of the United States actually is.” Pay attention. He says this as a Democrat!

Obviously Webb doesn't have any further political aspirations. At least as a Dem......

Nice to hear from a D. Unfortunately he has not impact since he no longer has to deal with reprisals from his former thug life buddies in politics. It is very easy to be critical when you no longer have skin in the game.

True dat! :hammer:

Granted what Jim Webb is saying makes sense as it is kind of a Duh! moment, but it looks like a pathetic attempt to clear his conscience of knowingly backing all these socialist hacks.

Jim Webb voted for Obamacare before he regretted voting for it. Just another :censored: up hack.

If he still had skin in the game, he would be following the talking points, just as he was instructed to do so.

But now that he does not have to kiss the feet of his Dear Leader or pay the price, he has developed a pair. A very tiny, microscopic pair, but at least he has “evolved.” :clapping:
