The Obama Nation

Postby La. Hunter » Sun Aug 10, 2008 3:38 am

Has anyone here read the book "The Obama Nation"? I bought a copy tonight and can't put it down. I am only half way through with the book, but I am extremely amazed that this man has anything more than a dream of becoming president. From his communist mentors to his support for the president candidate of Kenya, Raila Odinga (whose lose in December of 2007 resulted in an uprising where muslims burnt churches with Christians inside), I am worried about what will happen if he is actually elected.

I was also amazed to learn that the word change is a code word in some radical teachings to mean "The socialist redistribution of wealth". So perhaps this is what obama means when he says "Change we can believe in".

If you haven't read the book, I would encourage everyone to read it. I could only find it in hard back at wal-mart for $20, but it is an interesting read.
