No, I won't.

I've been around specifically with some of the chemicals cited.

The initial post was full of general statements based on opinion. Uninformed and naive.

Regarding PCBs. Do you know what PCB means? They are PolyChlorinated Biphenyls. Do ;you know how many positions on a Biphenyl molecule can be Chlorinated? I do.

Do you know the most toxic of the PCBs?

I do.

Do you know where and how it was found to be toxic?

I do.

This took me about sixty seconds.

so, are you saying PCBs and other persistent molcules are okay cuz you took 60 seconds to "know" about them?

BTW: I took chemistry too and actually worked on PCB cleanups in my early career. This was a big deal for electric utilities that I worked for. To oxidize a PCB molecule you have to get it to something like 2000 or 2200 degrees and hold it for 2 seconds before it breaks down.

No, it took me 60 seconds to write the post. I didn't consult anything but my memory. I have more experience than you do. The original naive rant was about all manmade chemicals.

*Gulp* I agree with some of what tom* says. Some of the original post is pretty far reaching in its conclusions. Just because something is manmade doesn't make it harmful.

Can I guess the millions of tons of salt that wash off our highways in the winter into our wetlands is harmless? That's a natural occuring substance. Toss a handful of salt in with your goldfish, see what happens.

That the initial post was general and naive.

Didn't you read it and my comments?

His heart is in the right place though, I'll admit that.

I read both, but wasn't sure what it was you were trying to say. nuf said, you clarified it now and I agree. he was well intentioned and the problem is real. I think we all agree.
