My new P380 and G21 for a size comparison...the 380 is just a cute little thing.
One thing I like about the P380 is the sights. Might not ever need em, but it's nice to have if you do.

If you are in the market for a .380 then I would suggest at least taking a look at them. They are basically a mini 1911, around the same size as the LCP, but no plastic. It really is a pleasure to shoot.
I also carry the SigP238 with Cor-bon DPX (1050FPS). It is my summer gun. I wear a belly band at my waist under a pair of gym shorts and t-shirt. I also carry a back up mag. Colt mustang 7 round mags work well with gun and give you more grip surface. I bought my Sig when they first came out for $435

Wow! You got a deal. I carry the HD model and changed out the carbon fiber grips for some dark walnut. I also had a local leather worker make me a custom holster becuase I couldn't find one like I wanted to fit this gun. It is a nice little combination. I will have to check into those Mustang Mags.
Make sure their toe nails are wet

I have a mustang II pocket lite. I usually carry that when I'm wearing lightweight shorts. I normally carry my G27 though.

I have the LCP 380, it's a cute little thing and really nice to carry in a pair of shorts or Jean pockets. But there is no substitute for cubic inches of a .40 or .45. And not to mention the raised sights are much nicer than those little slick tops, heavier gun, wider handle, etc.
My thoughts are this, .380 is a good gun to start the fight but nothing I would want to reload or shoot out over 7 yds.
Shooting for personal defense is all about confidence, and frankly the .380 just isn't a confidence builder for me and many of the sub compact .380 models aren't comfortable in the hand. There are plenty of 9MM models that are a better shooting platforms than most of the .380's I have handled.
I don't dislike the .380 it's just not my first or second choice that's why I own a .380.
