Substitute Alarm-Security System

Postby scheister » Thu Jul 23, 2009 10:12 am

i recall an email from awhile back that suggested that if you have a lock remote, keeping your car keys close by, and activating the horn sound button in response to an intruder in the event you have no installed security system.

I actually work in the security field and don't think there is any substitute for an alarm. When people hear the tone of a burglar alarm they pay attention (even if they don't, the police are in route). Car alarms go odd all the time and get ignores. It WOULD be better than nothing though.
