Must read for the Hunting Dog Forum

Postby La. Hunter » Sat Jul 07, 2012 10:40 am

This forum is strictly for legitimate questions, answers and discussion of hunting dogs and training. If you don't have anything legitimate to add to this forum, then please don't post. As we all are aware, there are many highly opinionated members in this forum and some of you are posting here only to stir the pot or troll. Consider this as a warning, trolling or pot stirring in the Hunting Dog Forum will not be tolerated from this point on.

Thanks,

La. Hunter

You guys are too much, starting a fight in a thread that was started to curb that. The next person to call someone an idiot, troll or anything other than a friendly discussion about hunting dogs is going to get a week off.

*Troll can be many thing from a mean spirited post directed at someone to a smart alacked gif.

This ends now. :hammer:

A couple things to add.

1) Do not belittle any dogs here.
2) Do not say that a dog isn't a good hunter since it hasn't won any type of trials.
3) There are many methods of training dogs and not everyone agrees. Feel free to discuss why you think one method is better than another, but do not attack the other person.
4) Feel free to post proud moments whether it's about a certificate, hard retrieve, trials, etc., just don't put other dogs down that haven't.
5) The price of the dog has nothing to do with how good it is. Don't use price as a comparison.

I wonder if everyone had to sign every comment with their real name, real mailing address and real phone number if that would take care of the insults and back stabbing and bickering? Just a thought......I know I get sick of it.
Forgive me for being arrogant. I own 2 Drahthaar's.

Just a "heads up," Tim, if you're not a site sponsor, that sort of sig line will likely be considered unauthorized advertising.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.
