DD questions

Postby chrisss » Tue Sep 10, 2013 5:50 pm

I have been doing a lot of research for this breed. I'm wondering if dd owners keep them as house dogs or they stay outside in a kennel? I am currently a college student finishing up next year and would like a dog to start this fall. I currently stay with my parent and my mom doesn't like dogs unless they live outside. Also how much did you guys get your dogs for just trying to get a price range on them so I can't work my money for the pup

DD's thrive on affection and make wonderful house dogs.

Expect to pat $1000.00 to $1200.00 for one.
I hate seeing a game bird die of natural causes, unless I naturally cause it.

I don't have one, but owners I've talked to say they do fine inside or out.

my buddy had/has 3 of them. They are all outside dogs...even here in South Dakota. Very cold winters here but they have great coats and he had very nice housing for them and they did well. Great dogs. Be willing to pay a little more for a good breeding as is with all breeds of dogs.

As gonehuntin said, they are pretty much all 1k - 1200. I have mine inside - tell your mom you'll keep her in a kennel inside. They do fine, and then you wont have to worry about ripping up the house or having accidents in your moms house.

Be sure you are thinking ahead as far as saving up enough money, the initial investment is cheap compared to food, vet bills, emergency funds.
I just pooped my pants.

+1

My DD stays outside in a kennel most of the day when we are gone to work. If we are home he is either in the yard or inside. Still sleeps outside though.

Outside home....
