Taz was 54 at 6 mos, is now 68#, nothing but legs and lungs. Dad says he feels like a sack of antlers, would like to see him around 75, don't think he has it in him though.

How old is he now at 68lbs? Full grown? My boy is 5 months & 55lbs. Can't imagine he would only gain another 15lbs to adulthood!!!

He will be 3 in a month. Hi9s 68# is with him being as lean as a dog can be, he is nothing but bone and muscle. I have seen through the years that each individual dog will mature and grow at its own rate. WOuldn't surprise me if your boy is only 68#, or 78#, there is just no telling. I'll try to find a pic of Taz when wet before shaking, you can really see his build.

Yeah I suppose, I figure Jase will end up between 70-80lbs so that would only be another 15-25lbs. Great looking dog you have there! Lean & mean!

A Boykin will fit your needs very well. Don't believe all the BS you hear, my Boykin has put a lot of Labs to shame in the field.

Your much better off getting a Boykin for waterfowl hunting. Check out Yocona River Boykins.
