Dog stink HELP

Postby Slack Tide » Thu Oct 17, 2013 2:37 pm

I have a freakish English Bulldog that stinks all the time....like a sulfur/Fritos smell.....his bed is unspeakable.
Who can recommend a dog bed that helps repel odor, probably a waterproof, cordura fabric...

Stick a cork in his back side or get a different dog.

My lab's feet smell just like fritos when he's excited/stressed/expending a lot of energy. Not sure what causes it, just kinda wrote it off as dog BO.

For a short-term stink help, maybe try some of the Kong waterless bath? Basically it's like dog febreeze. Spray on, wipe off, and Fido is cleaner and smells better. Not as good as a full bath, but much less of a project.

His bed... his BED is what I need help with guys....I guess a waterproof bed will have the best bet of not retaining smell right?
Anyone have one?

Just get a scentsy candle near it. Cover up the odors easily and makes the house smell a lot better.

Something with cedar filling or buy one that has a zipper and a bag of cedar shavings and add as needed. will also repel bugs
I hope someday someone remembers this old dog with kindness and gives me to a puppy.

Petsmart carries dog beds with plastic on one side and fake sheep fleece on the other. Put the plastic side up. Wash once a week.

How old is it? My mother in law has an older dog (verge of Dino's) that is a mutt but she sticks no matter what! You can bath her and she would stink like she's been outside in the dump for yrs. She started using dial for men and says it works out great, she just has to bath a lot. Dog know I this helps but it's worth a shot. Some dogs have a skin problem that causes them to stink constantly!!!
