Room for kennel in newer Suburban

Postby Bargancaveman » Sat Jan 25, 2014 7:29 pm

I finally had to replace the 15 yr old 98' Suburban with a 2009 model. It was possible to have the 3rd row seat in and have a dog kennel in the back with the 98'. With the newer model, we cannot get the kennel in with the 3 row seats. I can fold them up and there is room but it doesn't have the overall room that the old one had. Is there a solution any of you have? Is there a shorter kennel keeping in mind I have a black lab? Or should I just keep the damn 3rd roe seats folded? Thanks for the help.

Don't know the dimensions of the truck nor you current kennel nor what you'd want in a shorter kennel so I'd guess leave the seats folded?

My 3rd row seat is in the garage. Don't have kids and have a bunch of dogs.

My third row seat in a 99 Suburban is in the spare room. I need more room for hunting gear, dog kennel, etc... The kids can just sit in the middle seat where I can reach em if they get to fighting.
