Duck and string

Postby labman45 » Sun Jun 19, 2005 6:26 pm

I recently had a tip from a man i met on a fishing trip he told me that i could get my pup drake to retreive a dummy. He told me that i should tie deke string on my dummy to help him get an idea on who to give the dummy to. Would this work?

Labman. I'm not sure what your asking. Need to clarify a little bit. Believe me though, if your pup is worth half the kibble your feeding him, he will retrieve for you. Your lab will retrieve. If i remember correctly he is still a young pup. You should be playing in a halway or the corner of the back yard. thats all the retrieving training he needs. If you get him excited about the object then he will retrieve it (to you).
.....you've got to ask yourself a question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?
