Great pics guys... Hate to see the damage wire fences can do. Glad he's ok.

Brown Dog's first field hunt, a 3 man limit of mallards. She was incredibly steady for how close the birds were landing (literally close enough to grab with our hands).

Omega, man that's a good looking pointer! I like those pointers. I haven't bird hunted since the mid to early 90's. I'd love to watch one work again.

Thanks! I also love watching a dog work. There is something special about it that puts a smile on your face. Everyone tells me I was born in the wrong generation as far as wild populations go...just means more trips out west are needed

Thanks!

Here's a couple from our pheasant hunt tonight.
I always find myself stopping to take more pictures of the dog than actually concentrating on hunting.

Took Ellie on her 1st hunts this past weekend. Sat me and my son knocked down 12, Sunday we hunted 4 and got our 24. My girl picked em all up. Had as many as 6 down at one time. I never had to get out of the blind. She will be 1yr old at the end of this month.

I thought face paint on my pup was stupid too until last year when we were having a bad string of hunts not getting much. for fun I decided to paint it since we all paint ours. we limited 4 guys in less then 20 min. that day forward it's been a superstition.

here's a link to our facebook if you want to see more pics of the truck.

It's only weird if it doesn't work. I wasn't implying I thought it was stupid or anything.
