Jackson last weekend. Turned 10 Dec. 7 and still going strong...thankfully

First river retrieve, first goose. :D

It looked like just a wing was swimming in the river, but she didn't give up! Not bad for 6.5 months.

Couple more pics from the last 2 days of the season. Kimber's first time breaking ice but that didn't stop her (even though I got out of the blind to make sure she got back okay. I know over protective dad haha)
Also had her first blind retrieve in some thick nasty briars.

This is what a working dog looks like after 32 retrieves. When the sun got high enough that it reached 20 degrees, she found a sun warmed blow over to sit next to and snooze by.
