Minneguy,

Thanks.

Four different dogs. May have caused confusion by not adding a caption to each photo. The first picture is Katie, she's 11.5. Second-fourth pictures are Zap, she'll be 5 next week. Fifth and sixth are Ace, he's just over 1.5. The last pictures are Bullet, he' just over 6 mo now. As Griffdom stated, all are Griffs.

He may not be a retriever, but he doesn't know that haha.
No need to force fetch either, just point and say hey would you please go get that, and he does.
He's a heck of a dog, love playing frisbee and agility with him. He even goes hunting, but he has no interest In that stuff, but he loves going with.

Here is is doing his job. When he isn't outrunning the entire world and defying gravity he does a little service work. He is getting trained in tracking, and he does therapy work at the senior living facility up in town. When he passes his test, he will even be certified to visit hospitals and hang out with the kids. He is seriously one of a kind.

This is my old working girl, ImageImage she was a heck of a dog, I can't find any of her in action photos but she brought back tons of ducks, and more geese than I could count. Her first retrieve was at 14 weeks, she couldn't pick up the big goose so she tugged it backwards. Not much on pheasants, but she was hell on rabbits, and helped us track down tons of deer. I miss her so much.

Hunted out of the boat for the first time all year. We have mostly hunted swamps and just parked the boat when we hunted the lakes and built a blind. Lake was up in the trees today so decided to put the blind up. Dogs first hunt out of the boat as well.

Ducks, geese, ice, and found a quail on walk to get the truck. Definitely a full day.
