Big Day tomorrow

Postby gsphunter » Fri Oct 14, 2005 9:12 pm

Big day for me anyway. The dog won't know the difference between tomorrow and any other day out training except the people standing behind me with pens in hand dinking points off one by one. Anyway, if you haven't figured it out, I'm running a hunt test tomorrow. It's just a Natural Ability test with NAVHDA, but the dog I'm running could turn it into an event. If he brings his typical self out of the crate tomorrow, it should be a good day, but who knows with him. Oh well I'll let ya'll know how it goes.

gsphunter, good luck with the testing today and let us know how the pup did.

Went pretty good yesterday. My dog scored a 108/112 in the test. His downfall was the tracking portion of the test, which I kind of expected so it wasn't too much of dissapointment. The 108 was good for a prize 2, which I was perfectly happy with, although if he would've picked up one more point in tracking, he would've received a prize 1. Oh well, had fun and did well all the same.

Thanks JJ. Can't wait for next summer and fall now already to run my older dog in some of the upper level tests. It's an addicting game.
