A place for people to discuss "do it yourself" projects from building blinds, to boats and everything in between.
I bought one of them boot dryers on sale at the farm store for $19.99.
Then added some 2" pvc pieces and a couple 2" couplings to make the boot dryer into a wader dryer.
I cut two pieces 36" long and can put my chest waders on the boot dryer turned inside out.
If you hunt every day you gotta have this!

I've seen similar things before, thanks for sharing Betty. I have a boot drier and have been rolling my waders down before putting on the drier. That looks like a cheap and easy alternative.

Gonna use some reducing couplings and use my 1 1/2" PVC if I can. I still use the stubbies too.

I skipped buying the boot dryer and just use 3 inch PVC with a blow dryer stuck in the end of it. Cut/drill a few vent holes in a four foot piece of pvc then slip it into your waders. You dont' have to have it but an elbow on the end will direct the aiflow into the toes of your boot slightly better.
Takes 10-15 minutes to dry the boots. Also nice to prewarm the boots on those really cold days.
