Silly question, but how do you keep the connections dry and clear? I assume you have it spliced and shrink wrapped, but wouldn't mind seeing some pics of the electrical housing stuff as well...

I forget the pounds of thrust but want to say 35 for some reason.
Electrical connections are spliced, soldered, siliconed, and wrapped with outdoor electrical tape.
Itś a three speed motor, that is why two wires are not connected at all. Thatś low and medium...
I put a household plug on the end of the cord, wired a household box with a switch on board the boat, and thatś how I run it.
I know there is a better way but I cobbled this together from stuff I already had. The whole idea was make is as cheap as possible. I spent maybe $10 making it.
