I always have had an assortment of small hand tools, but I simply take a 4" X 8" scrap block of wood two foot long, cut the ends on a 45* angle (If you can cut a 60*, all the better), and that is the simplest/cheapest tandem axle jack you can get. I believe I'll be carrying a hi-lift jack in the newest trailer now, as well.
There is never enough room for all a guy'd like to have, and I suppose all the lists will be different.
