good to hear...i just bought a Drake jacket and had some doubts as to the quality and waterproof reliability of it. i took a leap of faith based on opinions i've heard locally and am glad to see that others around share the same opinion.

I really love Drakes stuff, but Rivers West is pretty good to.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

Get a Columbia Omni-Tech Widgeon jacket. It's the most lightwieght, durable, and warmest on the market. Plus they've been making then for years so they know what they are doing when developing a garment. Also if for any reason you are dissatisfied, they will send you a new coat. No questions asked. For example, The waterproof membrane on any Gore-tex, omni-tech, etc. will wear out eventually around the seams after washing over the years. Once this happened after about 8 years, I returned the jacket and they sent me two new jackets of my choice. Colombia will remain my choice for years to come.

I just bought a Drake wader jacket 4 in 1 and I love it. I put it through a good test this season and it passed with flying colours. A little on the pricy side but worth every penny. It is the only so called water proof hunting coat that I have bought in 39 years of waterfowling that is water proof.
I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was.

Rivers West makes a great jacket, but the problem i had with the one i was looking at was a rather annoying flap right at the shoulder that could easily catch the butt of your gun as you raised it. i could see this happening to me numerous times thus costing me many opportunities at birds...therefore i put it back on the rack and went with the Drake.
