I have worn my old jacket out and its time to buy a new one. I am needeing some opinions on what is the best jacket for under $125. I need it to be really warm because it gets very cold here. I will alson be wearing it under my chest waders, so keep that in mind. I prefer to get the advantage MAX-4HD camo as well.(looks great!)
Look at Cabelas I have a parka of there's its a Dryplus. It is great for cold weather and not a bad price. And I have never gotten wet in the rain using it.

from what i have looked at i would have to agree the hearters jacks is one of the best coats you can buy esp. for the price you pay... all the stuff as the 200+ jackets have very nice coat
I was going to buy a Herters, but then we ended up getting some weather and I needed a coat in a hurry, so I had to buy a 4 in 1 from Gander Mountain. It was only $120, down from $150. I am really happy with it. It has all the features as the herters that I originally wanted. I guess the true test will be the shapre it's in in three or four years, but so far it's been great.
I finally made my mind up and bought a Herters 4n1 wading jacket. To say the least, I love it, it is very very warm and fits perfect. I got it in MAX-4 camo, looks great!!
Yes they are very nice. I love the neoprene cuffs. I reached my whole arm into the water the other day and stayed dry. VERY cool!
