spring loaded doors on layout blinds

Postby dogger9 » Wed Feb 22, 2006 7:07 pm

is it worth spending the extra money on a layout blind to get one with spring loaded doors? do they open alot faster? i am going to get either a
x-lander or a Eliminator pro-guide, just not sure if the Eliminator is worth the xtra cost.

I don't own either one but I have tried them. I think there are features other than the doors that would make-up my mind which I would get. I didn't care for the doors on the X-Lander but other features make it attractive. I would think that with it all stubbled up you will have to make a little more effort to get the doors open but it shouldn't be a big deal. A lot of people like both blinds.
More ammo! I need to shoot something!

well i guess the best thing for me to do is make a trip to bass pro and try
some out. nobody that i hunt with has one so i have been doing all my research in the Cabelas catalogue and in these forums.
