Floating shell bag

Postby lumberjack » Mon Nov 15, 2004 7:31 pm

Howdy fellas,
I'm looking at buying a floating shell bag, I've found a couple that I'm interested in . I've seen some advertised to hold up to 10 boxes of 3" mags and still stay afloat. I do a lot of hunting in waist deep flats and could really use a bag that I can let float around in the water. Anyone have any field experience with these bags?

I have a deluxe offical blind bag of DU and have used it in the water quite often. It works well, just make sure it is strapped to something. Also not all the compartments of the bag are waterproof. I had a friend lose a cell phone because he put it in an exterior pouch and it filled with water.
