Floating shotgun case with a zipper

Postby YeOldeDrumstick » Sun Nov 25, 2012 5:45 pm

Are there any of the manufacturers that make a floating case with a zipper instead of the folding strap & buckle? If so, I need to get another one. I've had one for years and the zipper finally went out & I'd like another one with a zipper.

Thanks

Google search Final Approach Inside Edge, last time I looked there were places that still had them.
Winchester SX2 12ga, SX3 20ga, Kicks Highflyer and Terror chokes.

my FA in max4 has a zipper... got it at sail outdoors up here in Ontario.... zipper binded up half way.. so I had to slide the gun in from the end, and tore up the insides with my semi's bolt handle... but still a good case...

I've always had issues with gun cases tearing from the bolt handle. Pisses me off. I got so mad the other day I threw it in the marsh and just left it. :lol3:

Well at least your gun fit. I can't find a case anywhere that my beretta a400 with 30" barrel will fit in. especially once you put the length of pull extension on and screw the kick's high flyer. Laid in the back seat of my tacoma it touches both doors at the same time.

I picked up a Red Head case from Bass Pro a few years back.

No complaints and it does float.

Cabelas makes a good floating case with a zipper. I bought one before the season started and i'm happy with it. Its high quality and has plenty of storage space and a shoulder strap.

Bought this case as well and love it. For $20 it's very nice. It has a flap and buckle though. But also has a zipper. When it tears up ill buy another one.
