Carrylite Chest Pack

Postby lumpy2181 » Sat Feb 02, 2013 8:46 pm

Hey everyone, I just grabbed one of these http://www.wingsupply.com/hunting-accessories/hunting-bags-packs/carrylite-realtree-max-4-all-around-chest-pack/ since the price is right but I was curious to see if anyone else has used one and how you liked it?

My buddies and I made a group order in January when they were on sale for $5. I didn't get a chance to use mine but my buddies did. They really liked them but they are just getting started duck hunting so anythin was better than the small fanny packs and backpacks they were using. The last weekend of the season two of us went hunting in some flooded timber and he took his chest pack. Carried his shells, cell phone, water, snacks, anchor for jerk string (my anchor for my jerk string is pretty heavy 5lbs or so and there was an opening I was hoping to hunt where we would not get to tie the jerk rig to a tree), snuff, and he still had some room. We were probably close to 3/4 of a mile from the truck and at least half of that was wading. He said the pack did a good job balancing the load and keeping things in reach. He kept the pack on the entire time even to shoot with. I see it as good tool for keeping your hands free when walking or hunting but I think I would have to take it off and hang it in a tree once I got to where I was hunting.

No worries brother. Mine hasn't been tested yet but fit seems nice and it has more than enough space for what I normally use when I walk in hunt. Should be a handy tool this next season.

That's what im thinking. I usually carry the decoy's and my boy carries a pack with ammo, snack's and water. This way we can carry our own stuff and each carry more decoy's on our back.

Mine arrived today. Nice piece of equipment, especially for the price.
Won't hold a whole lot, but will hold all I need it to....

Just got mine also. My only disappointment is the "waterproof pouch for cell phone and wallet" is nothing more than a ziplock bag. I'm nitpicking here, really can't complain for $14 to my door.

Ok, cool. Hope I get them in the next day or so. Wont get used for waterfowl much if at all, but I'm thinking for a few days in the mountains of VA chasing turkeys, these things would be perfect. Small backpack on the back and just enough room for the essentials up front...

Wingsupply has them on ebay for 12.95... free shipping. Total is cheaper than their website.
