I have a LED Lenser H7. So far so good. Really bright.

I have the Petzl Tikka XP and it's awesome! I think I paid $59.99 from Cabelas but it's been worth every penny.

Just anything by Petzl, their standard lamps are all you need and should cost you $30 to $50 bucks. Im in the Army and work at night overseas so my lamp is my best friend. Had one for 3 (4months Long) deployment and had to replace the batteries about once a month even when using it multiple hours a night. Most run on AAA.

I have a Pelican 2720 and a Streamlight Septor. Both use AAA batteries, and having used Pelican and Streamlight products during my 22 year career in the fire service both companies back up their products 100% if you have any problems no questions asked.
