Postby jbrown1109 » Sun Jul 28, 2013 10:27 pm

Hey everybody, this is my first post on here and I was wandering if anybody has ever made their own wake maker decoy system or has an ideas on how to make their own?

We rigged up old trolling motors for water movement. And also put pumps on bottom of butt dekes for a lot less money.

I think i could pretty well make the system for alot cheaper, but how would you keep tension on your towlines and is there anyway to alow your decoys to pass around the pullies?

Devices like you are talking about (the Duck Commander unit?) almost always turn out to be more hassle than they are worth.

Be where the ducks want to be.
Stay hidden.
Let 'em come in.
Shoot straight.

It's really pretty simple.

One of those prehistoric jerk cords seems to do it all.
